Abstract | Rhenium containing hyperbranched polymer was synthesized by an one-step polymerization. The fabrication of the rhenium containing hyperbranched polymer and poly[2-(3-thienyl)ethoxy-4-butylsulfonate] (PTEBS) multilayer on free standing ZnO tetrapods using layer-by-layer approach have been demonstrated. The optical properties of ZnO tetrapods coated with the multilayer were studied. It can be observed that the emission is dominated by the emission from ZnO with relatively weaker emission attributed from the rhenium hyperbranched polymer. This technique demonstrates the possibility in modifying the optical properties of ZnO nanostructure. |
