Abstract | A gifted education teacher conducting a summer talent development workshop at a university in Hong Kong reflects upon how she addresses the social-emotional needs of gifted adolescents. She supports their emotional inner explorations by applying mindfulness practice, following the tradition of Zen master Thict Nhat Hanh and Plum Village Community. The paper helps raise awareness how mindfulness practice can benefit the personal growth of adolescents, through a teacher’s planning, implementation and interaction in a group setting. |
