Abstract | A novel mixed oxide catalyst synthesized via the co-precipitation technique for the effective abatement of NOx from vehicular emissions was presented. The catalysts composed of Mg, Cu, Fe, and Al oxides, were derived by calcination of the co-precipitated mixed oxides at 800°C for 4 hr. The developed mixed oxide catalysts exhibited excellent catalytic activity for the decomposition of high N2O concentration. The results provide significant information on the design of mixed oxide catalysts. This is an abstract of a paper presented at the 8th World Congress of Chemical Engineering (Montreal, Quebec, Canada 8/23-27/2009). |
