Biography

Dr. Ng is a Clinical Associate Professor at the Department of Diagnostic Radiology and Division Chief of Cardiac Imaging at the HKU-Shenzhen Hospital. He completed his medical degree in the UK and undertook radiology training in the UK. Early in his radiology training he chose to sub-specialise in cardiothoracic imaging and completed his radiology training in 2013. He furthered his training by undertaking a 1 year cardiac CT and cardiac MRI fellowship in Toronto General Hospital, Canada. On completing his fellowship, he took up this current position in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology, HKU in 2014. During this time, he graduated with commendation from the 1 year Global Clinical Scholars Research Training Programme at Harvard Medical School and set up the cardiac MRI services in HKU-Shenzhen Hospital and the University of Hong Kong.

Dr Ng's cardiac imaging group is based in Hong Kong and Shenzhen and has established collaborations in the UK, Canada, USA, Singapore and Taiwan. The group is keen to collaborate with local and overseas students and doctors!
