As Professor and Director of the Common Core, I work with multiple partners on and off campus to create, deepen, and dynamically sustain the interdisciplinary curriculum for the undergraduate students at HKU. With degrees in philosophy, religious studies, literature, and a PhD in Interdisciplinary Studies from Emory University, I have also taught in Switzerland, Germany, and the United States, and, in 2009-10, served as a Fulbright Scholar in General Education at the Hong Kong American Center and the University of Hong Kong, where I held an Honorary Professorship at the Centre for Humanities and Medicine (2010-2013).
