Objectives
To study the relationship between diabetic nephropathy (insipient and clinical) and plasma Lp(a) levels in Chinese patients with non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (NIDDM); to determine whether the metabolism of Lp(a) is affected by circulating thyroid hormone levels.
