Objectives
1 To study the mechanisms of SRGP by investigating its possible relationship with cognitive function impairments, intentional judgment and eye movement in patients with FEP and healthy control. 2 To investigate the potential of self-referential gaze perception (SRGP) as an endophenotype of schizophrenia-spectrum disorder: a. To establish the state-independent nature of the SRGP by studying its longitudinal changes in association with the psychopathology of patients with FEP and subjects with ARMS. b. To test the hypothesis that SRGP abnormality is present at a higher rate in non-affected siblings of patients than in healthy controls. 2 3 To investigate the potential of SRGP as a neurobiological endophenotype of schizophrenia-spectrum disorder by evaluating the neurobiological network associated with self-referential gaze perception using fMRI.
