Objectives
1. To pilot a programme that will expose medical students to the realities of the poor, the vulnerable and the socially marginalized in Hong Kong society in order to nurture a sense of social responsibility, altruism and understanding of how health is inextricably linked to underlying social factors 2. To explore the feasibility of developing this programme as part of the ""humanitarianism and social justice"" theme of the core Medical Humanities curriculum as it continues into the clinical years
