Objectives
1) Functional characterization of the potential pro-metastatic effect of NRP2 in ESCC; 2) Examination and delineation of NRP2 expression in CD90+ esophageal CSC subset and its role in promoting esophageal stem-like cell tumor maintenance, growth and metastasis; 3) Evaluation of the clinicopathological relevance and prognostic significance of NRP2, alone and in combination with CD90, in human ESCC samples.
