Professor Nam, Kyung-min 南更旼
Kyung-Min Nam is Assistant Professor of Urban Studies and Planning at the University of Hong Kong and holds a PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His research interests focus on the institutional and policy dimensions of economic and environmental sustainability, and his scholarly work has been widely published in the field’s major peer-reviewed journals, such as Urban Studies, Global Environmental Change, Research Policy, Energy Economics, Climatic Change, Energy Policy, Industrial and Corporate Change, and Annals of Regional Science. He also has extensive work experience with national and international public think tanks, such as the Korea Research Institute for Human Settlements and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific, contributing to spatial planning and policy analysis at multiple levels. Dr. Nam has also served as a member of the editorial boards for several academic journals, such as the Annals of Regional Science (Springer) and the International Journal of Urban Sciences (Taylor and Francis).
