Dr Chua, Siew Eng 蔡秀英
Siew Chua studied Medical Sciences at Cambridge University and Clinical Medicine at Oxford University. She received Psychiatry training at Cambridge University, the Maudsley Hospital and Institute of Psychiatry, London, U.K. After qualifying as a specialist, she continued training at Castle Peak Hospital in Hong Kong, and then the Department of Psychiatry, Queen Mary Hospital, The University of Hong Kong. She coordinates undergraduate psychiatry education, including the Specialty Clerkship in Psychiatry. Her research focus involves ithe use of MRI to study neurodevelopmental disorders such as schizophrenia, autism as well as neurodegenerative change in Parkinson's disease and healthy ageing. We collaborate with Radiology, Neurology, and Psychiatry in HKU, as well as neuroimaging laboratories in Mainland China, the Institute of Psychiatry, London, and University of Cambridge, United Kingdom.
