AbstractThis paper presents the full digital control of a two-wheeler forward converter using the fuzzy logic approach on a digital signal processor (DSP) based platform. Making use of the human experience and knowledge of the existing behavior of the converter topology, the performance of the system is investigated and compared by varying the several design parameters of the fuzzy controller. Simulation results of the several control schemes are presented. Experimental results of a 25W 20kHz 2-wheeler forward converter prototype system are also shown to verify the proposed control schemes.
