Abstract | The polarization-independent two-pump fiber optical parametric amplifier was presented. A flat-gain polarization-independent continuous-wave fiber optical parametric amplifier with 15 dB of gain over a 20-nm bandwidth was investigated using two orthogonal pumps. Results showed that the gain varied between 16 dB and 13 dB and the theory agreed well with the experimental results in terms of bandwidth and gain level. |
