AbstractThis paper deals with the problem of reliable control for uncertain nonlinear systems with time-varying delay. The system under consideration involves state with time-varying delay, parameter uncertainties, nonlinearities and external disturbances. The uncertainties are assumed to satisfy the numerical boundedness, and the nonlinearities are assumed to satisfy the boundedness condition. The purpose is to design the state feedback controller such that, for all admissible uncertainties as well as actuator failures occuring, the plant remains globally exponentially stable. Based on Lyapunov method, the controller can be obtained by solving the LMI. A numerical example and simulation are presented to illustrate the validity of this approach.
