AbstractAimed at the features of the quartz-containing ceramic radome material, three kinds of surface coating materials were selected in the present investigation. Based on the dispersion strengthening mechanism, a proper quantity of ceramic powder filler was added into the coating material to prepare the surface coating with different performances, which were tested and compared according to China national standard. The results shows that the ceramic powder filler has different effects on the hardness, the bond strength, the impact resistance, the flexibility and the film formability of the coating layer.
