AbstractThe development of intelligent systems has provided opportunities to integrate decision support system (DSS) software into the Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) curriculum. This study addresses the relationship between MBA education and DSS technology. DSS software can be integrated into the MBA curriculum to facilitate the instructional process and the learning environment. Where-to-support, what-to-support, and how-to-support concepts are addressed. A prototyping process is suggested. The potential impact of DSS software on the MBA teaching environment is examined. Obstacles are also discussed. © 1990 Elsevier Science Publishers B.V. All rights reserved.
