AbstractThe conductance of a normal metal in a ballistic one-dimensional superconductor-normal-metal-superconductor structure(SNS structure) is formulated. To calculate the normal conductance we use a S-matrix method to describe the coupling of the normal metallic electrode to the conducting normal metal.
