AbstractA new method for carrier recovery in an MPSK DS/CDMA receiver is presented. The proposed scheme employs two balanced X-correlators to form a frequency discriminator which has a tracking range of double the symbol rate, and the tracking range is independent of the keying phase number and the spreading code length.
