AbstractEquation Presented A method to efficiently prepare substituted 1,2-dihydroquinolines and quinolines by Au(I)-catalyzed tandem hydroamination-hydroarylation under microwave irradiation was developed. This method requires short reaction time (10-70 min) and has a broad substrate scope. © 2007 American Chemical Society.
