AbstractThe luminescent complexes [M 3(μ-Ph 2PCH 2PPh 2) 3(μ 3-η 1-C≡CC 6H 4C≡C-p)M 3(μ-Ph 2PCH 2PPh 2) 3][BF 4] 4 are synthesized by the reaction of [M 2(μ-Ph 2PCH 2PPh 2) 2-(MeCN) 2] 2+ and 1,4-diethynylbenzene in the presence of Bu nLi in thf (M = Cu 1, Ag 2); X-ray crystal structures of both are determined.
