AbstractMultiloop Edgewise Arch-Wire (MEAW) therapy was developed by Kim in 1967 to treat marked anterior open bite cases. MEAW using round wire (MEAWR) is developed on 0.018 inch Australian stainless steel archwire for correction of the sagittal relationship only. This simplifies the construction and activation procedures and makes it more user friendly in selected cases.
