AbstractA nonlinear system of equations governing the potential flow of a fluid in the presence of capillarity effects, is shown to be reducible to a resonant Davey-Stewartson type system for a class of three-parameter free energy functions. Two-soliton solutions of this system are thereby constructed via a bilinear operator formulation.
