DescriptionCITE has adopted and adapted the National University of Singapore's web courseware tool, IVLE. This seminar outlines the thinking behind the design and development of a shared web environment, tailored to the needs of CITE students and staff. The session will describe how CITE uses the web to support learning and teaching and to promote an online community of learners in the MSc[ITE] programme at the University of Hong Kong. The presenter will 'show and tell' how students and staff work on and off line, both in and out-of-class. The session is intended to be interactive and time will be allocated for discussion.

His research interests concern the use of information and communication technologies in education, technological practice and change and in open, distance and flexible teaching and learning strategies.
