Abstract | The inequality of wealth among players in the minority game (MG) was investigated using the well-known measure in economics called the Gini index. In the minoirty game, global cooperation comes hand in hand with uneven distribution of player's wealth. The numerically simulated Gini index was produced semianalytically by mapping the system of the MG to a spin glass. The findings show that the wealth inequality of players is severe near the point of maximum global cooperation. |
