AbstractThe use of a new class of geometric gates to implement geometric quantum computations (GQC) was discussed. It was found that the fluctuations due to the conventional geometric phase term and η term leads to uncertainity of the phase in the gates. The new type of gate is found to be robust to the perturbations or fluctuations from the parameters. These gates have a parameter independent proportional constant with η free of the maximum parameters.
