AbstractTraditional folk art is an important part of intangible cultural heritage, which has great value in social culture, history and art. In the context of diversified entertainment, the development of traditional folk art is facing a huge crisis. At present, the protection of traditional folk art mainly focuses on legislative protection, record keeping, and improving people's awareness of protection. In the UNESCO's guidance on the protection of intangible cultural heritage, it is mentioned that the protection of intangible cultural heritage needs to keep pace with the times and make it an active part of life. As a traditional folk art, the revitalization of Chinese Crosstalk (声or “Crosstalk” for short) is a typical example of integrating intangible cultural heritage into life and developing with the times. This dissertation focuses on the reasons why Crosstalk has become a way of life, and analyze the current situation and existing problems. In the second part of the dissertation, according to the definition of UNESCO and China, the category of intangible cultural heritage is defined and its value is analyzed. The third part focuses on the reasons why Crosstalk has become a way of life. Firstly, it analyzes the external influencing factors through stakeholder related theory. Then it compares Tianjin to a Crosstalk cultural space and analyzes the elements of this cultural space, so as to analyze its own factors. The fourth part mainly summarizes the current situation of Crosstalk development in Tianjin through SWOT, and puts forward the existing problems and recommendations.
