AbstractIn this chapter, we explore the concept of creativity by examining the entrepreneurial process of a legendary Hong Kong jeweller who has turned his small jewellery workshop into a well-known retail brand in Southeast Asia. We demonstrate how analysing entrepreneurship under the anthropological framework of historical agency can help clarify the nature, the process and the evaluation of creativity. We contend that creativity should be primarily defined as the process of making differences that are evaluated as meaningful and important.
