AbstractIn this paper, we consider a discrete channel with inter-cell interference (ICI) as a model for NAND flash memory. We derive an explicit formula for the mutual information rate when the input is Markovian. Using this formula, we obtain the asymptotics of the channel capacity in the high signal-to-noise (SNR) regime.
