AbstractAnnular jets of different diameter ratios are studied obtaining quantitative measurements on the effect of inner diameter or diameter ratio on the flow structures of the conical and basic annular jet. The standing vortices and wake vortices generated behind the interface, their Strouhal numbers and their effects are examined in detail.
