AbstractIn a survey of 157 Hong Kong residents, political trust was found to moderate the influence of identity undermining on support for separatism and intentions to participate in nonnormative collective action. Identity undermining was more strongly associated with support for separatism and nonnormative intentions amongst those with low political trust.
