AbstractBecause several craniofacial anomalies are related to the narrow upper airway, for example narrow maxilla or retruded mandible, orthodontists and oral and maxillofacial surgeons are involving diagnosis and treatment of paediatric obstructive sleep apnoea. The knowledge of anatomy of the upper airway and its growth change in childhood is crucial for both clinical and research purposes.
