AbstractThis research explored the positioning and implementation of entrepreneurship education for the University of Hong Kong. This qualitative research had 20 interview respondents, including students, teachers, parents, alumni, entrepreneurs, civil servants and policy advisors representing different stakeholders of entrepreneurship education in HKU. It was found out that the University of Hong Kong (HKU) can collaborate with different stakeholders and develop entrepreneurship education to be more effective and efficiency. HKU staff can make good use of experiential learning to implement entrepreneurial training as a formal curriculum. The factors reflected by the features of entrepreneurship education in public sectors are the experience for stakeholders of HKU to develop an extraordinary entrepreneurial teaching style or approach for students and open to public. The results indicate that the entrepreneurial spirit and seed fund are important for young creators and innovators to make the changes through social innovations. The teachers or policy makers of entrepreneurship education shall be listeners and coordinators for the youths and other stakeholders, to co-create future entrepreneurial learnings environment in HKU.
