AbstractKoorchaloma novojournalis sp. nov. is described and illustrated based on a specimen collected on decaying petioles of Arenga engleri in Hong Kong. It differs from other described species of Koorchaloma in having larger conidia with mucoid appendages at both ends and in having distinct conidiophores. Koorchaloma novojournalis is compared with all other species of Koorchaloma.
