AbstractExchange reactions of [Re2(μ-OR)3(CO)6]- (R = H, Me) with alcohols and phenol have been established by electrospray mass spectrometry (ESMS); dehydration of [Re2(μ-OH)3(CO)6]- and the β-hydride elimination reaction of [Re2(μ-OMe)3(CO)6]- have also been observed under ESMS conditions.
