AbstractWeb 3.0, which leverages the semantic or intelligent potential of the World Wide Web, has been extensively integrated into our daily life and has dramatically changed our information searching behavior and learning style. This article analyzes and summarizes the major characteristics of Web 3.0 and the Learning Revolution in this new information age. It also examines the challenges and opportunities that Web 3.0 presents to the early learning and early childhood teacher development. Finally, this article addresses the future directions for early childhood teacher education in the age of Web 3.0.
