AbstractThe purpose of this study was to evaluate the carcinogenicity ofcopper & manganese & their effects on carcinogenesis of rat tumorsinduced by diethylnitrosamine (DEN). The results showed that co-pper, manganese alone & both together could decrease the incidenceof hepatoma or hepatocarcinoma induced by DEN. It was statistically significant (P<0.05) in group DEN+Cu+Mn.DEN with copper, manganese or both also induced lung cancer. Ingroup DEN+Cu+Mn, the incidence of lung cancer was 50%, whichwas most statistically significant (P<0.01). Our results suggest thatboth copper & manganese have definite effects on carcinogenesis ofrat tumors induced by DEN. 本文報告了微量元素銅、錳對二乙基亞硝胺(DEN)誘發大鼠腫瘤作用的影響。實驗結果表明:銅、標對DEN的致肝腫瘤效應有抑制作用。兩者合用時,抑制作用更為明顯(P<0.05);但在肺臟,銅、錳分別或共同與DEN作用,可誘發大鼠肺癌,且合用組的肺癌發生率更高(P<0.01)。本實驗結果提示:銅、錳對DEN誘發腫瘤效應確有影響。
