Abstract | Recently , computer simulation has been widely adopted in evolutionary linguistics re- search.This paper discusses the necessity of the simulation approach to language evolution studies , lists the criteria for classifying contemporary models , illustrates the primary steps to design a computer model to examine linguistic problems and popular simulation methods , summarizes the advantages and limitations of this approach , and points out that the future research in evolutionary linguistics will largely rely upon such multi-disciplinary approach. 計算機模擬方法最近正被大量應用于演化語言學的研究中。文章討論此方法對語言演化研究的必要性,歸納對已有模型的分類準則,介紹開發計算機模型研究語言學問題的主要步驟和常用的模擬手段,總結此方法的優勢與局限,并指出未來演化語言學研究將會更多的建立在這種跨學科的研究之上。 |
