AbstractMicrocomputers have had a great impact on geographical teaching and research. Paucity of geography software limited the use of microcomputers when they were first developed, but this is now no longer the case. A large amount of software has been developed since. This paper discusses the use of microcomputers in geography, outlines the availability of geography software, and examines some constraints in using microcomputers in geography teaching and research. -from Author
