Abstract | A general adaptive controller is proposed to control a plant subject to deterministic disturbances plus a class of nonstationary disturbances that can be modelled by passing white noise through an Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) filter. The proposed controller applies the internal model principle to force the closed loop system to have a prescribed pole/zero configuration and restricts the control error to a zero mean stationary process. The deterministic disturbances are decoupled. |
