AbstractTime to frequency and frequency to time domain conversion algorithms needed in the steady-state analysis of nonlinear circuits using the harmonic balance method become complicated for multitone signal inputs. This paper shows that an efficient algorithm using the multidimensional discrete Fourier transform can be employed for a proper choice of the input signal frequencies.
