AbstractThe major limitations of autogenous grafting are inadequate supply and surgical morbidity, including donor site pain, paresthesia, and infection. Graft resorption can also pose a severe problem. Bone induction is therefore needed to assist in fracture healing and to fill osseous defects. This article reviewed the current development of bone induction in relation to clinical orthodontics.
