AbstractThe reinforcement of acrylic denture base resin with high performance polyethylene fibre in chopped, woven and continuous parallel forms resulted in significant reductions in water sorption and dimensional changes during immersion. The dimensional changes during immersion mainly occur during the non-steady state of the diffusion process. © 1993.
