| Abstract | Wider use of mediation in dispute resolution process is one major part of the Civil Justice Reform introduced in 2009 in Hong Kong.Soon afterwards a public consultation paper was released to seek the views of possible mediation ordinance in Hong Kong and now a draft mediation ordinance is place for discussion.This paper looks into the experience of People's Mediation Law in mainland and examines the necessity of mediation legislation in Hong Kong and major contents that should be covered in future mediation ordinance in Hong Kong. |
