AbstractThe sensitivity changes of the 110 °C TL peak in response to temperature, time, irradiation dose and UV exposure were studied. The observations are explained by a modified model with proposed existence of multiple levels of holes (R traps). It is found that the degree of the sensitivity change, and hence the OSL efficiency, relates to many factors. The relevance of the 110 °C TL peak to OSL dating is discussed.
