AbstractSome parametric studies on the production of high strength concrete have been carried out by means of trial mixing to investigate the effects of (1) using different types of aggregates, (2) adding pulverized fuel ash, (3) adding condensed silica fume, (4) triple blending of binders, (5) paste volume, and (6) curing conditions. Only locally available materials were used in the trial mixes and thus the results should be directly applicable to Hong Kong.
