Abstract | The recently developed spline-finite-strip method possesses both the advantages of the finite element and finite strip method, and it has been proven to be an accurate and versatile tool in stress analysis. Attention is drawn in this paper to the application of this method in the analysis of curved slab bridges. Numerical examples are included to demonstrate its accuracy. |
