AbstractWe describe a case of chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) in myeloblastic transformation in which near-triploidy with complex karyotypic abnormalities occurred together with unusual blast morphology. A review of the literature shows that near-triploidy is extremely unusual in blastic transformation (BT) of CML.
