Abstract	The HKU Office of Knowledge Exchange (KEO) has sponsored several Open Access (OA) projects at HKU seeking to make the research and researchers of HKU highly visible. In the feedback received from UGC on HKU's KE efforts, the UGC has praised HKU's efforts with OA in each of the two reporting periods. One of KEO's sponsored projects, "The HKU Scholars Hub" allows a HKU author to place research output into OA, and optimize HKU data describing the author and his or her publications. This presentation will describe the procedures for doing so, and give new analysis on HKU data showing that OA does indeed increase readership and citation count. This analysis has been done on HKU articles receiving Springer Open Choice publishing, another KEO sponsored initiative. Springer Publishing have also been invited to present a report at this session.
