AbstractThis article reviewed the controllable synthesis of silver nanoparticles with different morphologies and sizes.The antibacterial activities against Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus,etc were summarized. The inhibition towards human immunodeficiency virus(HIV),hepatitis B virus and breast adenocarcinoma cancer cell were presented. At the same time,the products with relevance to silver nanoparticles and the prospect on the development of silver nanoparticles were also introduced.
