Abstract在2008年汶川地震災害調查和認識的基礎上,研究了與香港地區地震危險性相關的五點認識。香港地區雖然有較大斷裂,但是它的斷裂處于較為完整的花崗巖和火山巖巖體中,深部不具備產儲大型高壓天然氣囊,因此,它不具備發生中強地震的充分條件。香港地區的巖石類型、周邊和內部海水體、周邊島嶼和建筑樓頂水體的均有利于抗震減災。 Based on findings of the investigation of geohazards caused by the 2008 Wenchuan Earthquake with magnitude 8.0, this paper examineed five experiences relevant to the seismicity risk in Hong Kong. Although there are major faults in Hong Kong, these faults are located in relative intact granitic and volcanic rocks with deep roots. The deep ground rock bodies do not have the possibility to form huge traps for storing and accumulating natural gas. The region does not have the sufficient condition to occur strong earthquakes. The rock types, the surrounding and internal sea water, the nearby islands and the water in drinking, flash and fire water tanks on top of high-rise buildings in Hong Kong are assets to reduce seismic hazards in Hong Kong.
